If allergic reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued. Caution should be exercised in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. Sulfonamide derivatives can cause ossification.

Caution should be exercised in persons with severe hepatic or renal impairment. It should be kept in mind that the enzyme may be inactivated if silver-containing compounds are used together with topical proteolytic preparations.

It should not be used outside of medical necessity by evaluating the benefit-risk ratio in pregnant women. Although it is not known whether it is excreted in milk, breastfeeding should be interrupted during the use of the drug because sulfonamides are excreted in milk. Efficacy and safety in children have not been established. It should not be used especially in babies who have not completed 2 months.



Silver salts are substances that react with air, metals and other chemical substances and change color from gray to black when exposed to light. Since heat facilitates this change, it should be kept away from excessive heat and heat. It should not be placed in metal containers.

The cream should be kept in its own container, if it is necessary to change the container, glass or polypropylene containers should be used.



Formula:

1 g cream contains 10 mg Silver sulfadiazine.



Usage and dosage:

SİLVERDİN Cream is applied as a thin layer on burns and wound areas in accordance with the cleaning rules and is covered with a sterile dressing material if desired.

The dressing can be renewed 1-2 times a day, depending on the condition of the burn and wound and at the discretion of the physician.
